In 2019 an accident led John to immediate surgery on both quadriceps tendons. John has been bodybuilding since the early 90's and throughout the years, like any other athletic sport, can put stress on on the body as we age. John's right and left quadriceps ruptured without notice gave out. It was then his rehab journey began for him and he was immobilized for the next 6 months. Fast forward the surgeon was amazed at his progression in such a short period of time compared to other patients in the age bracket. But, it was John's decades of fitness lifestyle that allowed him to recover far more quickly than most.
Bod-G is a firm believer that if it wasn't for creating a fitness lifestyle throughout the years, this significant injury would have had a major setback for him. Today John has fully recovered with a slight gate. The effects of strength training when you are faced with bodily stress.
